1850 Artisan Polish - A Dream is a Wish - The Indie Shop Exclusive

Today I have something exciting to share with you! I have 1850 Artisan Polish's exclusive polish for the Indie Shop's TISneyland Event.  This is "A Dream Is A Wish" and is a thermal polish!

Since "A Dream Is A Wish" will not be available online, and will only be available in person at the event, let's start off with the details of the event.

The Indie Shop event this year will be held at Sheraton Park Hotel at the Anaheim Resort, 1855 South Harbor Boulevard, Anaheim, CA 92802.

Date and Time: Saturday, May 19, 2018, from 10:00 AM for VIP ticket holders and for general admission 11:00– 3:00 PM PDT

Now for the swatches!

A Dream Is A Wish

A Dream Is A Wish is described as a scattered holo thermal polish that has pink aurora sparkle and transitions from a delicate shimmering white with strong blue flash when warm to an enchanting Cinderella blue when cold.

It's recommended that because thermal polish dries to a semi-matte finish, it should be enhanced with a high-shine top coat like Fast Track, 1850 Artisan Polish Quick Dry Top Coat.

Ok, brace yourself for some gushing.

This polish is amazingly gorgeous.  It's honestly one of my most favorite thermal polishes ever.  The Cinderella blue is such a beautiful color, and that warm color? It's to die for, that pink aurora sparkle coupled with the strong blue flash is perfection.

The formula is wonderful too.  It went on very smoothly, evenly and was very easy to apply and remove.

1850 Artisan Polish - Treasures of the Pacific

Today I have the Spring Release from 1850 Artisan Polish - Treasures of the Pacific, and boy are they a doozy!

1850 Artisan Polish is a relatively new Indie brand, and she is just killing it with each collection she releases.   I try to never say this lightly, but this collection is amazing and you guys may just need every single one of them.  The Treasures of the Pacific collection took me entirely too long to swatch, and that's only because I wanted to wear each and every polish for at least a day before I could bring myself to remove it and move on to the next one.

Enough of my yammering.  Let's start off with some details and then get into the swatches.

Who and Where:
1850 Artisan Polish - https://www.1850artisanpolish.com/

When:
Saturday, April 14 at 9:00 am PST / 12:00 PM EST
All previous polishes will also be restocking at this time.

Price:
$10 each

This collection has three multichrome flakie toppers, one black creme polish and four multichrome polishes.

I'm going to start with the black cream since I used it as a base for all the multichrome flakie toppers.

Squid Ink

Squid Ink is described as a highly pigmented blackest black cream that can be applied as a one coater! This dries naturally to a semi matte finish so be sure to use a good top coat for shine.

This has an excellent formula, it's neither thick or thin and applies smoothly and evenly.

Shown here is one coat plus 1850 Artisan Polish Fast Track Quick Dry Top Coat.

Crystal Jelly

Crystal Jelly is described as a multichrome flakie topper that shifts dramatically between green, turquoise, blue, purple, and gold.   Crystal Jelly is based on the Crystal Jelly, one of the most ethereal jellyfish in the Pacific Ocean.  The Crystal Jelly is bioluminescent, giving off a beautiful green and blue glow.

Shown here is one coat of Crystal Jelly over one coat of Squid Ink, and a glossy top coat.  I used 1850 Artisan Polish's Fast Track Quick Dry Top Coat.

These flakies lay flat and smooth and apply easily.  They also remove very easily too.

Moon Jelly

Moon Jelly is described as a multichrome flakie topper that shifts dramatically between violet and blue, with orange, gold, and green at the edges.  Moon jelly is based on Moon Jelly from the Pacific Ocean.  The Moon Jelly changes colors based on what it has eaten, often appearing pink, lavender, or orange.

Shown here is one coat of Moon Jelly over one coat of Squid Ink, and a glossy top coat.  I used 1850 Artisan Polish's Fast Track Quick Dry Top Coat.

These flakies lay flat and smooth and apply easily.  They also remove very easily too.

Lion's Mane Jelly

Lion's Mane Jelly is described as a multichrome flakie topper that shifts dramatically between red and green with gold on the edges.  Lion's Mane Jelly is based on the Lion's Mane Jelly from the Pacific Ocean.  The Lion's Mane Jelly is only rarely found in California.

Shown here is one coat of Lion's Mane Jelly over one coat of Squid Ink, and a glossy top coat.  I used 1850 Artisan Polish's Fast Track Quick Dry Top Coat.

These flakies lay flat and smooth and apply easily.  They also remove very easily too.

Pacific Seahorse

Pacific Seahorse is described as a glowing green to gold shifting multichrome that sparkles with  holographic micro flakes.

Glowing is the perfect description to this one, it absolutely does, and is stunning!

Pacific Seahorse has an excellent formula.  It applies very smoothly and evenly.  Because those are flakies, it also removes easily.

Shown here is two coats with a glossy top coat. I used 1850 Artisan Polish's Fast Track Quick Dry Top Coat.

Mermaid Music

Mermaid Music is described as a mesmerizing teal, violet, blue, red, and gold multichrome loaded with holographic shimmer.  It is an intense scattered holo and is nearly linear.

Mermaid Music has me enchanted.  I wore this for nearly an entire week and even then, I only removed it because I had a crack in my nail that I had to take care of.  If you can only buy one polish, get this one, it's absolutely amazing.  I often found myself just moving my hands around in different lighting and daydreaming when wearing this.  It just did not get old.

Mermaid Music has an excellent formula.  It applies very smoothly and evenly.  It removes easily too.

Shown here is two coats with a glossy top coat. I used 1850 Artisan Polish's Fast Track Quick Dry Top Coat.

Garibaldi

Garibaldi is an incredibly strong multichrome that shifts from red to orange and gold with a hint of green on the edges.  The Garibaldi is the official state marine fish of California, and is a feisty fish that will aggressively protect its territory.  This fish is so brightly colored that it can easily be spotted in the waters near California Island in Southern California.

This one is so fiery and shifty, I love it!

Garibaldi has a wonderful formula.  It applies smoothly and evenly.  It removes easily too.

Shown here is two coats with a glossy top coat. I used 1850 Artisan Polish's Fast Track Quick Dry Top Coat.

Sea Anemone

Sea Anemone is described as a bright and shimmery multichrome that shifts from emerald green to a rosy gold with purple and blue on the edges. Sea Anemones can easily be found in tide pools along the coast of California and bring a colorful surprise to visitors looking for treasures during low tide.

This multichrome is crazy.  I applied it and went to go eat dinner, I kept catching the shift between purple and blue-ish teal as I ate and was totally enamored. I couldn't believe it was the same polish.  I wasn't expecting so many shifts when I first applied it.  This one definitely fits its inspiration that Nikki describes as a colorful surprise!

Sea Anemone has a wonderful formula.  It applies smoothly and evenly.  It removes easily too.

Shown here is three thin coats with a glossy top coat. I used 1850 Artisan Polish's Fast Track Quick Dry Top Coat.

Isn't this collection just gorgeous?  Nikki totally hit it out of the park and like into the next state.  I hope my swatches did them justice because this collection needs to be in everyones collection.  The toppers are amazingly beautiful and these multichromes are drool inducing.

Set those alarms for Saturday, April 14 at 9:00 am PST / 12:00 PM EST because I have a feeling these guys are going to sell fast.
