Polished For Days - Started With A Mouse (Magnet Polish)

Started With A Mouse is described as a magnetic polish with a deep blackened violet base with blue to purple shifting micro flakes and a pink to green shifting magnetic line.

You guys! This polish is absolutely stunning! I love it so much I've worn it 3 times already and each time I have to remove it I get sad.  I have swatches of it without the magnet applied that I will have after for you.

The formula was perfection.  It applied smoothly and easily.  Removal was also a breeze.

My swatches show two coats plus a glossy top coat.

The swatches below show Started With A Mouse WITHOUT the magnetic effect.  It's a beauty no matter how you like to wear it.

Cuticula - Dole Whip Wonderstruck Top Coat

Dole Whip Wonderstruck Top Coat is a multisized gold flake topcoat.

The scent is of sweet, fresh pineapple, and was inspired by one of Disneyland’s most popular treats, “Dole Whip”.

I'm going to talk about the top coat itself here, and the scent of the Dole Whip in the section with the Confection.

I love this top coat! It is in the same formula of Timeless so you won't need to add any other top coat after you use it, which is huge for me personally.  So, no more two steps when you want to add some sparkle to your mani, you just add this and your mani is complete!  I don't know about you, but I'm always doing my nails late at night, at this two in one top coat saves me so much time!

Also, you know what else I absolutely love about Wonderstruck?  It does not mess with the color of your base polish.  It just adds sparkle and that's IT.

This may be released in Cuticula's shop at a later date.

Just like regular Timeless Top Coat, this isn't marketed as a Quick Dry Top Coat, although I found it dries to the touch in about 3-4 minute & is rock hard in about 40 minutes.  You can start doing easy stuff right away like type on your computer or play with your phone, but if you want to leave the house, or go digging in your purse, I'd recommend waiting about 40 minutes.

First I'm going to show it to you over it's polish mate, Polished For Days Started With A Mouse,
then over a creme polish.

Shown in all swatches is just one coat of Wonderstruck.

^^Look at that shift!! This polish makes me swoon.

Now here is 1 coat of Wonderstruck over a blue creme polish.

Cuticula - Dole Whip Silk Base Coat

Silk Base Coat in the same scent of Dole Whip will also be available from Polish Pickup this month!

I go into detail about the scent of Dole Whip for the Confection, Nail Fortifier.
The consistency of the scent between top/base/confection is perfectly on par.

*On the Polish Pickup website Silk Base Coat will be located with the Wonderstruck Top Coat Listing in a drop-down menu.*

I owe a lot of my nails health to Silk Base Coat.  I wear this almost exclusively and my nails have never been healthier looking or more white.  I've always had yellow stained nails because I am drawn more to the dark, vampy colors, and blue shades, all of which can be stainers.  Since I started using Silk, however, the yellow is growing out, and the white that's growing in is staying white.  I also don't get any peeling anymore, which is great because whenever I see a layer about to peel/flake I just have to poke at it and peel it up, which always leads to a break.

Silk Base Coat is 5 Free (Free of formaldehyde, toluene, DBP, formaldehyde resin, and camphor), Fast Drying (nails will be dry to the touch in about 3 minutes), has a high gloss shine, is non-yellowing, and offers durable protection if you like wearing it alone.

The scent can last for hours, and sometimes a few days.

Cuticula - Dole Whip Confection

Nail Fortifier

Dole Whip smells amazing and has fast become my favorite scent in the confection.  I am already more than halfway done with my tub!  I did the old "smell my hands" test to my boyfriend, and after sighing, he grudgingly gave a sniff and said, "Pineapple, but with something else, something sweet, coconut?" While he wasn't totally right, he was very close, so if you love pineapple you can be assured that the pineapple scent is apparent, but so is the sweetness of the whip.  It's a perfect mixture.

The Nail Fortifier has a nut free, non-greasy creamy formula that is fortified to help nails be strong and healthy with moisturizing ingredients for the ultimate nutrition for your nails.

A little bit goes a long way with this product. I just touch my finger in the cream and rub it into my nails and go about my day!

I truly love how non-greasy it is because that's the main reason I usually avoid these types of products. I can't count the number of shirts and pants I have ruined getting oil on them at work or getting it all over my keyboard. This doesn't have any of those issues and my nails have been feeling pampered!

Here you can see a before and after picture.

Before on the left, after application of Confection on the right.

I have a list of the ingredients for anyone who may want to know:

I was inspired by the label to do some nail art!

**************************************************************

Before I go I want to give you some background on what Polish Pickup itself is.

Polish Pickup is a group on Facebook that is an interactive experience that allows you to submit theme ideas and then everyone votes for their favorite choice.

After the winning theme is chosen and announced, different brands will create polishes, nail art items, or bath and beauty products, based off of the chosen monthly theme, that will be available for preorder on the Polish Pickup website for the first Friday of each month at 11 AM EST.

It stays open for four days, until the following Monday at Midnight EST.  At that point, all the products available are gone, and won't be back as everything is Limited Edition for that month.

Since all polishes are pre-ordered, they will ship a minimum of 3 weeks after sale commencement.

And, the cherry on top? Polish Pickup ships for a flat fee of $3 in the US and $5 for Canada.  They also ship internationally at cost!
