Chirality Polish - Radioactive Mambo - August 2018's Polish Pickup

Hi everyone!  Today I am back and I have Chirality Polish's contribution to August 2018's Polish Pickup to share with you!

Inspiration
Chirality Polish is bringing you, Radioactive Mambo, which is a gorgeous polish that was inspired by The Horror of Party Beach.

The Horror of Party Beach is a 1964 American horror film.  It was the first Horror Monster Musical, and was directed by Delbert "Del" Tenney.

When and Where to Purchase
August 3rd through August 6th
at

Price
$10

Cap:
None

'Radioactive Mambo' is described as a white jelly with green shimmer and holographic green micro-glitters, various shades of green glitter dots, and black shreds.

'Radioactive Mambo' had a wonderful formula.  It applied very smoothly and evenly.  I did not need to fish for any of the glitters or black shreds.

The removal will take a bit more time due to glitters, but still removes pretty easily

My swatches show three thin coats. It does dry a bit textured but I applied one coat of Cuticula's Timeless Top Coat and it was smooth to the touch.

Before I go, I want to give you some background on what Polish Pickup itself is.

Polish Pickup is a group on Facebook that is a monthly interactive experience that allows you to submit theme ideas and then everyone votes for their favorite choice.

After the winning theme is chosen and announced, different brands will create polishes, nail art items, or bath and beauty products, based off of the chosen monthly theme, that will be available for preorder on the Polish Pickup website for the first Friday of each month at 11 AM EST.

It stays open for four days, until the following Monday at Midnight EST.  At that point, all the products available are gone, and won't be back as everything is Limited Edition and exclusive for that month.

Since all polishes are pre-ordered, they will ship a minimum of 3 weeks after sale commencement.

Polish Pickup ships for a flat fee of $3 in the US and $5 for Canada.
They also ship internationally at cost!

The Howling Boutique's Supermoon Lacquer 2 Year Anniversary Duo!

Today I am totally thrilled to share with you a new Duo releasing from Supermoon Lacquer to celebrate their 2nd Year Anniversary.

Supermoon Lacquer is one of my most beloved brands because of their consistency in formula and gorgeous, complex creations.  This Duo is no exception.

Let's start off with some details.

Supermoon Lacquer will be releasing these as a pre-order which will run from July 13th at 6pm CST and end July 27th at 11:59pm CST.

Now you're probably wondering why the pre-order is so lengthy.  It's because, in addition to this duo, Supermoon Lacquer is re-releasing almost all of her previous polishes (60+) for preorder! So if you missed something in the past, it may be back for this pre-order before it's gone again for good.

Deimos

Deimos is described as a deep red-violet based, holographic red/orange/gold multichrome filled with purple-to-copper aurora shimmer, magenta-to-copper, red-to-yellow, and violet-to-gold color shifting shimmer, purple pearl and pink-to-gold microflakies, and silver holographic microflakies

Named after one of the planet Mars's two moons.

Both polishes in the duo will be available individually for $12.00 each
or together as a set for $22.00.

My swatches show 2 coats plus top coat.

The formula was excellent, it applied very smoothly and evenly.  It removed easily, and I had zero staining issues.

Phobos

Phobos is described as a bright blue based, holographic teal/blue/purple/red/gold multichrome packed with cyan-to-indigo and green-to-purple aurora shimmer, green-to-red and teal-to-purple color shifting shimmer, and silver holographic microglitter.

Named after one of the planet Mars's two moons.

Both Phobos and Deimos will be available individually for $12.00 each
or together as a set for $22.00.

Phobos totally took my heart and ran away with it.  This polish is all kinds of amazing. In my swatches you will see how shifty is it. It always looks like a different shade of blue.  It's mesmerizing.

I always find swatching Supermoon Lacquer to be hard in so much as I want to wear and admire them all for long periods of time after I apply them and this one was absolutely the hardest to remove, only emotionally though.  In reality, the polish removed very easily.

Swatches show 2 easy coats plus top coat.  Phobos had an amazing formula that applied very smoothly and evenly.  I had zero staining issues.

Wildflower Lacquer - Talk Indie To Me - July 2018

Hi everyone!  Today I am thrilled to bring to you a new to me Indie Polish brand, and a new to me collab box!

I have for you Shimmering Skyline which is Wildflower Lacquer's July contribution for the Talk Indie To Me collab box!

First, let's talk a bit about the box itself.

The Talk Indie To Me Box is a monthly box featuring Nailed It Nail Polish, and Zombie Claw Polish with guest makers every month.

For the month of July however, they are doing things a little differently.   In July, there will be no collective box, instead, they will be highlighting 8 different polishes with 5 different products! You will be able to pick and choose which products you wish to purchase. They will be resuming their normal format in August.

The theme for July's box is "Summer Daze" and encompasses any and all things summer!

Where:

When:
Friday, July 13th through Monday, July 16th

Price:
$11.00

Now let's see those swatches!

Shimmering Skyline is described as a light purple with teal shimmer, and rose pearl iridescent flakies.

The inspiration behind the polish was the color of the sky as the sun is setting.

Shimmering Skyline was opaque for me in two coats but I did three for good measure since my nails are long and my nail line tends to peek through.

The formula was amazing, and that shimmer is gorgeous and strong!  The removal process was also easy.

I also did some nail art because this color and the name "Shimmering Skyline" had this image pop in my head immediately and I just had to do it.  I was so happy my friend knew of a plate that had the image on it and I actually owned it!

1850 Artisan Polish - Luscious Lemonade

Today I am thrilled to share with you, Luscious Lemonade from 1850 Artisan Polish.

I am a little late with this blog post, so I'm sure you've seen this gorgeous, happy color on my Instagram or on 1850 Artisan Polish's but I wanted to make sure you guys didn't miss out on this beauty, so I just had to write up a blog post.

First, some details.

Luscious Lemonade is available right now on 1850 Artisan Polish's website.

It sells for $10.00 plus shipping.

Luscious Lemonade is described as a sparkling yellow filled with gold shimmer and topped with pink to gold shifting shimmer. Heralding summer with its happy, yellow glow, Luscious Lemonade was inspired by the most refreshing summer sip.

The formula on this was really really good! I never expect much from a yellow polish, but this one far exceeded my expectations.  1850 Artisan Polish always knocks it out of the park and this is a total grand slam (look at me trying to use a sports analogy!).

Shown in my pictures is 3 thin coats plus 1850 Artisan Polish's Fast Track Quick Dry Top Coat.

You can check out my Instagram for a live application video.

Here is some fun nail art I did.
