Today I have I have Cuticula's contribution to May 2018's Polish Pickup and I honestly don't think I could be any happier and more excited about what she has to offer this month!
Cuticula is bringing two products to May's Polish Pickup. The first, Sparks Fly Timeless Top Coat is a new product. The second is a returning favorite, Static Base Coat. These both will be in the scent Pink Sugared Lemons which is a subtle sweet and citrusy scent. I have a kind of obsession with Citrus scents so this is right up my alley!

Sparks Fly Timeless Top Coat
While Sparks Fly Timeless Top Coat may look like your average topper, it isn't a topper. Sparks Fly Timeless Top Coat is just that, it's your last step top coat! This is in the same amazing formula you've come to know and love using a regular scented version of Timeless, but this has added silver holo micro flakes! No more two steps when you want to juice up your mani with some holo sparkles, you just add this and your mani is complete. This may be released in Cuticula's shop at a later date.
Another thing about Sparks Fly Timeless Top Coat that was a MUST for me is IT DOES NOT CHANGE THE BASE COLOR! Did that excite you as much as it did me?
So many holographic top coats will grey out the base color, which I really dislike. I had been trying all different kinds of holographic top coats to find one that just adds sparkle and doesn't change my base color and this one nailed it.
Sparks Fly Timeless Top Coat is 5 free and dries super shiny in just one coat.
Just like regular Timeless Top Coat, it isn't marketed as a Quick Dry Top Coat, although I found it dries to the touch in about 3-4 minute but doesn't get rock hard until about 40 minutes. You can start doing easy stuff right away like type on your computer or play with your phone, but if you want to leave the house, or go digging in your purse, I'd recommend waiting about 40 minutes.

I have the middle nail shown with just 2 coats of the pipe dream polish and no top coat so you can see how shiny and true to color Sparks Fly Timeless Top Coat is.
I'm definitely going to be looking to add this baby on top of neon cremes. I always wanted holo neons similar to the pipe dream polish ones, and now, with Sparks Fly, I have just that!

Pink Sugared Lemons Static Base Coat
Static Base Coat is a scented sticky base coat.
This base coat is amazing. I get outrageous wear time using it. I have gotten at least 10 days wear with such a small amount of visible wear, I was absolutely shocked. I never wear my polish that long so I was floored when I saw just how great the lasting power is on this.
Whenever I go with my friends to get a pedicure my friend always asks for this base coat. She has very finicky nails. Even gel polish will peel on her in a few days, but this one lasts her at least a week and she adores it.

This is day 5 so far.
I am very pleased with these results thus far as it has been one crazy busy week both at work and at home. I have been busy at work so I'm typing more than usual, and at home, my boyfriend has been cooking, which isn't typical for us at all, so I have been doing the dishes every night. The minimal tip wear is amazing given how much abuse they're taking!
