I'm going to start off with the Star Shards Collection! The Star Shards are a collection of jelly and crelly based nail polish that feature amazing clear shifting flakies. They are all named after stars, each capturing a little shard of something much bigger!
They will go on sale October 10, 2017 in Alchemy Lacquers shop at 8pm EST.
Now lets get started with those pretty polishes!
Arcturus
Arcturus is described as a cool grey crelly with copper shimmer, red/orange/gold/green shifting flakes, and a touch of holographic shimmer.
Arcturus is absolutely gorgeous and unique. That copper shimmer plays off the red flakes and just glows! My pictures do this no justice. The formula was excellent, no issues to speak of. Shown is three thin coats plus top coat.
A little nail art I did. I tried to keep with the space theme of the entire collection, and went with some aliens and stars.
Deneb
Deneb is described as a dark fuchsia jelly with micro silver holographic glitter and red/orange/gold/green shifting flakes.
This polish is beautiful, I love how the flakes kind of make it look like glowing lava under the surface. The formula was great, smooth and easy to apply. Removal was also very easy. Shown here is 3 coats plus top coat.
Procyon
Procyon is described as a dark teal jelly polish that contains purple shimmer, blue/purple/pink/gold shifting flakes, micro silver holographic glitter, and a slight holographic finish.
This one was my favorite. It looks a bit darker in the bottle, and I was not expecting this beautiful shade of teal. As soon as I put it on I knew I was finished swatching for that day because I needed to wear it all day. It has an excellent formula, and is smooth and easy to apply. Removal is also easy. Shown here is 3 coats plus top coat.
Sirius
Sirius is described as a mauve crelly polish that contains purple and aqua shimmer with aqua/turquoise/blue/purple/pink shifting flakes.
This one was a neck and neck with Procyon for my favorite. I just fell in love with how the flakes go with the mauve base. The turquoise pulled most dominantly for me, and positively glowed. This is a total must have! Formula was excellent and removal was easy. Shown is 3 coats plus top coat.
Last but not least I have a special Limited Edition polish to share with you, and boy is it a doozy. If you're a purple lover, you are going to want to make sure you're ready when this launches, because you won't want to miss it.
Substrate
Substrate is described as a dark violet jelly polish with silver holographic glitter, and pink/green/turquoise shifting flakes.
Substrate is amazing. My swatches don't do this polish justice. It's so juicy and deep, you're definitely going to want this in your collection. The formula was excellent. Removal was easy. Shown here is 3 coats plus top coat.
I googled the word "Substrate" and got the definition: "the surface or material on or from which an organism lives, grows, or obtains its nourishment." So I thought this stamp was cute and would fit the definition well as they kind of looked like some kind of tiny organisms! What do you think?
The Star Shards Collection, along with the Limited Edition, Substrate, will be available on October 10th.
Also launching on October 10th from Alchemy Lacquers will be another collection called the Chocolate Bar Collection. You can find swatches on my friend Amanda's blog here: Little Mermaid Nailed It.
