Hi there, me again! I'm way too excited to share this with you, so let's take it slow with the basics.
For the month of September Polish Pickup's chosen theme is Horror Movies, and Mardi of Supermoon Lacquer chose my ALL TIME favorite movie ever. Like I can recite dialog and annoyingly quote it way too often, favorite movie. Scream!! I even loved MTV's much too short-lived TV adaption. This whole franchise has always been unique and fun while not skimping on the gore and scares.
Supermoon Lacquer is bringing you Sliced and Diced which was inspired by the Scream Franchise!

Quote from Mardi:
This has SPOILERS so readers beware if you haven't seen the movie yet.
My favorite horror movie/series/franchise has always been Wes Craven's Scream. The first movie, and followup sequels and TV series, is just so unique. While it still has the classic slasher film feel, it differs from other movies within this genre by being self aware to the point of basically making fun of itself. The plot is also pretty realistic, something that you don't often see in a category overflowing with supernatural boogeymen and unbelievable death scenes. It's really not far fetched to think that two friends go on a murderous rampage to torture one of their girlfriends (the other's ending up dead near the movie's climax) because he blames her mother (and, subsequently, her) for breaking up his family. Just research any serial killer or turn on the evening news and you'll realize that something similar could easily happen (probably already has). 'Sliced And Diced' is mainly inspired by the franchise's movie posters in terms of color and named after a quote from Randy, one of the main characters in Scream and it's sequel, Scream 2.

Sliced and Diced is described as a black holographic base filled with blue-to-red chameleon pigment, indigo-to-red color shifting aurora color shifting shimmer, blue shimmer, red and silver/white sparks, red microflakies, silver holographic microflakies, platinum silver microflakies, holographic black, red, and silver microglitter, and metallic red microglitter.
Sliced and Diced had an excellent formula, it wasn't too thick or thin, and it applied smoothly and evenly. I didn't experience any staining and it removed easily.
This was almost opaque for me in one coat, but I have it shown here in two coats with a glossy top coat.

Before I go I want to give you some background on what Polish Pickup itself is.
Polish Pickup is a group on Facebook that is an interactive experience that allows you to submit theme ideas and then everyone votes for their favorite choice.
After the winning theme is chosen and announced, different brands will create polishes, nail art items, or bath and beauty products, based off of the chosen monthly theme, that will be available for preorder on the Polish Pickup website for the first Friday of each month at 11 AM EST.
It stays open for four days, until the following Monday at Midnight EST. At that point, all the products available are gone, and won't be back as everything is Limited Edition for that month.
Since all polishes are pre-ordered, they will ship a minimum of 3 weeks after sale commencement.
And, the cherry on top? Polish Pickup ships for a flat fee of $3 in the US and $5 for Canada. They also ship internationally at cost!
