Hi there! Today I am back with a most stunning collection from The Howling Boutique's Supermoon Lacquer! This collection was inspired by something near and dear to her heart, the South Korean group, BTS, and their album Wings which was released in October of 2016. I know she poured a lot of love into this collection and it shines through in each and every single polish.

#SOPE

#SOPE is described as a red-violet based purple-to-red multichrome filled with matching color shifting aurora pigment, violet-to-gold color shifting shimmer, violet sparks, and purple pearl microflakies.

This polish is dedicated to Emily Kelly-Hollier as a small way of saying 'thanks' for taking the Mardi to see BTS's Love Yourself Tour on September 15th, 2018.

Her bias is Hoseok (or Hobi) and mine is Yoongi (she's the Hobi to my Yoongi and vice versa) and their sub-unit/ship/pairing name is SOPE - Suga (Yoongi's stage name) + J-Hope (Hobi's stage name). - Mardi

#SOPE has a wonderful formula. It went on smoothly and evenly and the removal was also easy.

AWAKE

Awake is described as a deep teal base filled with cyan-to-purple multichrome pigment, blue-to-red and turquoise-to-violet color shifting shimmer, violet sparks, purple pearl microflakies, iridescent teal/blue and blue/purple microglitter, and holographic gold and pink microglitter.

Awake is gorgeous, and might be my favorite of the entire collection! The application and formula are wonderful. Awake applied smoothly and evenly. Removal was also very easy.

BEGIN

Begin is described as a holographic indigo based blue-to-red multichrome filled with matching color shifting shimmer, silver/white and red sparks, red and rose pearl microflakies, and holographic copper and red microglitter.

Begin has a flawless formula. It was close to being opaque in one coat. It applied very smoothly and evenly. It also removes easily.

FIRST LOVE

First Love is described as a holographic gray base filled with cyan/blue/purple/copper multichrome pigment, red and silver shimmer, blue, copper, gold, and red sparks, red pearl microflakies, iridescent gold flakies, and holographic gold microglitter.

I love gray polishes and this one is so dark and moody, it's perfection in every way.

First Love has a wonderful formula. It's another that is close to being opaque in just one coat. It applies smoothly and evenly. It also removes easily.

LIE

Lie is described as a holographic white base with a super pale blue tint filled with bronze/purple/green and pink/violet/copper multichrome pigment, pink-to-aqua color shifting aurora pigment, purple-to-green color shifting shimmer, silver and white shimmer, aqua, gold, and violet sparks, and lavender microflakies.

MAMA

Mama is described as a reddish-orange base filled with copper/gold/green multichrome pigment, bronze-to-green color shifting aurora pigment, magenta-to-gold, orange-to-green, and red-to-yellow color shifting shimmer, red sparks, rainbow pearl microflakies, iridescent rainbow microglitter, and holographic gold and silver microglitter.

This polish is amazing! I legit though "Woah, Mama!" when I saw it on my nails. It's perfection in every way and is a total must have, in my opinion.

Reflection is described as a holographic dark denim-blue base filled with blue/purple/copper/magenta and cyan-to-purple multichrome pigment, blue-to-red and green-to-pink color shifting shimmer, silver/white sparks, snow white microflakies, and iridescent blue flakies.

My blue loving heart looooves this multichrome beauty but I don't think I captured it to its full potential!

It was almsot fully opaque in one coat, but my swatches show two coats and a glossy top coat.

It's very pigmented blue but I had zero staining. I do use a base coat though.

STIGMA

Stigma is described as a deep purple base filled with blue/purple/copper/magenta multichrome pigment, purple-to-copper color shifting aurora pigment, magenta-to-yellow and violet-to-gold color shifting shimmer, fuchsia and violet sparks, purple pearl microflakies, and holographic gold and violet microglitter.

Stigma is beautiful and a tricky one to photograph! I feel my swatches lean a touch deeper of a blurple than it is in reality. Check out An's blog because I feel she captured the color dead on.

NEVERMIND

Nevermind is part of the 2019 Birthday Bias Duo!

Nevermind is described as a holographic pale mint base filled with green-to-blue multichrome pigment, teal-to-aqua color shifting aurora pigment, green-to-blue color shifting shimmer, turquoise shimmer, green sparks, and iridescent teal/blue microglitter.

Inspired by Yoongi's iconic mint colored hair that he sported in the music video for Run, the title track from BTS's 2015 EP The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Pt. 2, as well as the promotions and live performances during that era. 'Never Mind' is named after he first song on the album titled Intro: Never Mind, in which Yoongi is prominently featured.

Seesaw is described as a holographic wine-red base filled with red/bronze/copper multichrome pigment, red-to-gold color shifting aurora pigment, red-to-yellow color shifting shimmer, red sparks, rose pearl microflakies, and red holographic and metallic microglitter.

Inspired by the suit/outfit Yoongi wears for his performance of Seesaw, his solo track from BTS's 2018 album Love Yourself: Answer, during their 2018 - 2019 Love Yourself World Tour
