Silk Base Coat - Sparking Mint Blossom

Silk Base Coat is a strengthing base coat that is perfect to wear under your manis or on its own. It is a milky white to give your nails a freshly polished look.

Cuticula offers Silk Base Coat is scented, and the scent this month is Sparkling Mint Blossom.

Sparkling Mint Blossom is described as a clean, fresh kind of scent. You can smell the minty peppermint, but it's not strong. It's mixed with the delicious scent of green apple and a hint of a floral scent. My nose also picks up some musky/woody type scents. Overall this is a fresh, and sweet kind of smell which I think would appeal to a lot. It's not overpowering, but it's also not a barely there kind of scent, it's a perfect in-between.

Silk Base Coat is 5 Free (Free of formaldehyde, toluene, DBP, formaldehyde resin, and camphor),
Fast Drying, has a high gloss shine, is non-yellowing, & offers durable protection if you like to wear it alone.

Cuticula
Quick Dry Top Coat
& Surf Green Stamping Polish

I'm going to post about these two together because I swatched them together.

Surf Green Stamping Polish is described as a seafoam green creme polish.  This can be used two ways, as one coat creme polish, and as a stamping polish!

Surf Green is shown here in just one amazing coat and topped with the equally amazing Quick Dry Top Coat.  Surf Green has a wonderful formula.  It applied itself practically. It goes on smoothly and evenly. The removal is easy, and for such a rich color, I had zero staining.

I also used it to stamp this fun mani!  I have it shown here over a gradient of both light and dark colors to show you just how versatile it is as a stamping polish.  It is just as opaque over the dark color as it is over the light.

When stamping I had zero issues picking up an image, and I used three different ones in this mani. It picked up the first time, every time.  The pickup was also fully opaque and did not leave any bald spots.

Now let's talk about Cuticula's

Quick Dry Top Coat.

I absolutely love this quick dry top coat.  I've started using it with almost everything I swatch because it dries fast. I don't have to waste time sitting there waiting for the top coat to dry enough so that when I pick up the bottle, and my fingers touch, it won't get messed up.  With Cuticula's Quick Dry Top Coat, by the time I am done with clean up, I am ready to take some pictures and move around.

I was a huge fan of the Topped with Love by Love Angeline. I was gutted when she closed up shop and her top coat was gone.  It was the only one I could trust to take with me for pedicures because it dried fast enough that I didn't have to sit there for an hour waiting for it to be dry enough to put my socks on.

Why did I tell you all that you're wondering? Because Cuticula's Quick Dry Top Coat replaced the TWL for me.  Once Amanda sent it to me I gave it the pedicure test and it passed!  I was overjoyed.  It's something that is so small but at the same time such a big deal. Nothing would piss me off more than getting a pedicure and it getting messed up by the time I got home.  I've been using this Quick Dry Top Coat for over a year now, and have never once been let down by it.

It works flawlessly with all finishes too.  It doesn't dull holo polishes, it does not smear any nail art, (as you can see in my art photos above), it never shrinks my polish,  is very shiny, and it's long lasting. I have easily gotten over a week of wear with only minimal tip wear and it will stay shiny until I'm ready to switch my manicure.  Oh, and you know how a lot of top coats get thick and stringy as you get to the last half of your bottle? This does not do that.  I've gone through quite a few bottles and never once had it get nasty towards the end.

Here are some more swatches of it over Surf Green to show off the shiny!

By Dany Vianna | Ranger

Ranger is described as a leaf green crelly polish that is filled with golden shimer, gold metallic flakies and gold UCC flakies, and holographic flakies.

Jreine | What A Feeling

What A Feeling is described as a blurple jelly filled with OGUP, red/green aurora, crystal shifting flakies and finished with just a touch of holo.

What A Feeling is a shifty little beauty so I have some extra swatches to share!

What A Feeling has a great formula, and the application is excellent.  It goes on very smoothly and evenly, and it also removes easily.

Swatches show three thin coats plus a glossy top coat.  I also will have swatches after that show it with Jreine's own Matte Maker Top Coat.

Swatches below are shown with Jreine's Matte Maker Top Coat that is also available from Polish Pickup this month!

Matte Maker Top Coat gives a nice chalkboard like finish.  It dries very fast too!  Look how pretty it looks when paired with What A Feeling!

Kiki, yes, I freaking LOVE you. This polish is so beautiful. I gasped when I unwrapped it.  My swatches don't do it justice.  I have quite a few to share with you to try and do it justice, but I still don't think it's true beauty can be captured.

The formula for Kiki, Do You Love Me? is amazing.  It applies flawlessly.  It doesn't stain, and the removal is easy too.

Swatches show three thin coats plus a glossy top coat.
