Pipe Dream Polish - Moonbow and Prism Drops!

Today I have two polishes from Pipe Dream Polish that I wanted to share with you.  As I write this, Moonbow is currently out of stock, but April, the maker of Pipe Dream Polish, does restock these as often as she can. Definitely check her shop in September when it reopens!  Beware, this post will be very picture heavy!

Moonbow is described as a black scattered holographic polish that watermarbles! It sells for $8.00

Shown here in two smooth coats, and glossy topcoat.

Prism Drops is described as a silver scattered holographic polish created primarily for water marbling. It sells for $8.00.

I have a lot of silver holographic polishes, but Prism Drops is unlike any other, and a definite must have in my opinion.  My bottle is already down to half.  Shown here in two smooth coats, and glossy topcoat.

Moonbow and Prism Drops both have incredible formulas.  They can be worn on their own in addition to watermarbling.  The holographic flame on them is amazing, I feel like i'm wearing tiny rainbows on my nails whenever I look at them.

Now, for some watermarble swatches!

(for the pink I used Pipe Dream Polish's "Masquerader" from the discontinued Street Carnival Collection)

All the watermable swatches above are shown over Pipe Dream Polish's Whitewater for my base.

If you want to see a quick video on how amazing and easily these two polishes watermarble, check out a video on my Instagram page.

Also, Moonbow stamps excellently! I still haven't tried to stamp with Prism Drops but I will be trying that soon.

The Howling Boutique's Supermoon Lacquer's I Am Cannibal Collection

Hi everyone!  For my first blog I wanted to feature a wonderful Indie Polish brand, The Howling Boutique's Supermoon Lacquer!

The I Am Cannibal Collection is releasing on August 24, 2016 at 6pm CST and is the second collection, and third release, from The Howling Boutique's Supermoon Lacquer. It is inspired by the song Cannibal by Kesha!  If you haven't listened to this song yet, I highly recommend it as I had it stuck in my head while I was swatching most of this collection!

There will be a pre-order from August 24th at 6pm CST through 11:59pm CST on Sunday August 28th!  During this time, there will be a set quantity available for $8 - $10 each, and fulls sets of all eight polishes will be $67.

After the pre-order period ends, the shop will close until September 1st, at 6pm CST, when they will release at regular prices.

Now, lets get into the swatches!

The Hunger is described as a holographic multichrome with a subtle color shift from violet to red to orange and holographic gold microglitters.  $11.00 (regular) / $10.00 during the pre-sale.

This one was my favorite of the collection.  As soon as I finished swatching for the night,  I put this beauty right back on.  The formula was great, very smooth and easy to apply.  Shown here is two coats and topcoat.

YOU BETTER RUN
is described as a
bright pink with purple-to-red color shifting shimmer, purple pearl and neon pink micro flakies, and a subtle holographic finish.  $9.00 (regular) / $8.00 during the pre-sale.

The formula was great, very smooth and easy to apply.  Shown here is two coats and topcoat.

I WARNED YOU is described as a neon coral with gold and copper shimmer, gold micro flakies, holographic gold microglitters, and a subtle scattered holographic finish.  $10.00 (regular) / $9.00 during the pre-sale.

The formula was great, very smooth and easy to apply.  Shown here is two coats and topcoat.

CARNIVORE ANIMAL is described as a scattered holographic duochrome with green-to-orange color shifting shimmer and iridescent holographic microglitters in a dark red base. $11.00 (regular) / $10.00 during the pre-sale.

This one was a surprise stunner for me.  When you see it in the bottle, you think it's just a brown holo. When you apply it on your nails, you're going to have to pick your jaw up off the floor.  The dark red base and holographic duochrome make it unlike anything I have in my collection.   Formula wise it's great like the rest.  It's very smooth and easy to apply.  Shown here is two coats and topcoat.

THE KINDA GUY I'D STALK IN SCHOOL is described as a turquoise green with aqua blue and gold-to-green color shifting shimmer, and green pearl micro flakies.  $9.00 (regular) / $8.00 during the pre-sale.

(matte topcoat added)

The formula on this was great, very smooth and easy to apply.  Shown here is two coats and topcoat.  I also show this one with a matte topcoat because I just thought it would look beautiful with it, and I definitely think it does.

BOYS FOR BREAKFAST (AND LUNCH) is described as a duochrome shimmer that shifts in color from indigo blue to bright purple. $10.00 (regular) / $9.00 during the pre-sale.

There was a slight settling issue with some bottles of this polish that was sent out to bloggers/swatchers.  My bottle was fine, but it could have been due to extreme temperatures with this summer heat we've been having this year.  Nonetheless, Mardi, the maker, addressed this issue immediately and reformulated it so you guys don't have to worry.  I just wanted to mention it because I love and admire how quickly she addressed and remedied this issue once it was brought to her attention.  The formula was great, very smooth and easy to apply.  Shown here is two coats and topcoat.

NOW I'M GONNA EAT YOU, FOOL! is described as a subtle holographic aqua blue with rainbow shimmer, blue pearl micro flakies, and holographic silver microglitters. $10.00 (regular) / $9.00 during the pre-sale.

The formula was great, very smooth and easy to apply.  Shown here is two coats and topcoat.

AND YOU'LL BE A GONER is described as a holographic light purple with turquoise and color shifting shimmer, and iridescent holographic microglitters. $10.00 (regular) / $9.00 during the pre-sale.

This is such a beautiful and unique purple. I don't think I have anything similar in my collection.  The formula was great, very smooth and easy to apply.  Shown here is two coats and topcoat.

Overall this collection is awesome.  There are a lot of unique colors and finishes with great formulas across the board.  One thing I did want to mention, if you are anything like me, when you see the word "microglitter" in a description, it gives you pause because removal can be a pain,  don't worry about that with these!  The microglitters are very small and not hard, at all, to remove.

I also did some nail art with these, you can check that out on my Instagram

Domestic orders of $55 or more will get free standard shipping (no code needed) and all orders that include the purchase of a full collection will get free priority shipping with no code needed.

The Howling Boutique's Supermoon Lacquer now ships to Canada, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.

These polishes were provided at a discount for an honest review which I hope you enjoyed!
