Pipe Dream Polish - The Bittersweet Symphonies Collection

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving, and maybe did some damage with the Black Friday sales, but hopefully kept a little extra for this new collection from Pipe Dream Polish which will be releasing on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 1pm EST.

The collection is named the Bittersweet Symphonies Collection, and consists of 5 polishes, which are all linear holos! This collection will be a one time release. That means there will be no restocks, so it's time to get those ninja fingers ready!

There will be approximately 85-90 of each color and will be available both in sets and individually.

Cost of sets: $50

Cost of individuals: $10

No discounts on sets because coupons can be used. Coupons codes are 5OFF50 and 10OFF100.

Now, let's get into the swatches and see the pretty polish!

First up is:  Army of Me:

Army Of Me is a beautiful green linear holographic.  It is opaque in two coats, the formula is smooth and very easy to apply.  Shown here is two coats plus top coat.

Doll Parts:

Doll Parts is a beautiful mauve linear holographic.  It is opaque in two coats and the formula is smooth and very easy to apply.  Shown here is two coats plus topcoat.

Fade Into You:

Fade Into You is an almost denim blue linear holographic.  It's opaque in two coats and shares the same great formula as all the rest in this collection.  Shown here is two coats plus topcoat.

Shadowboxer:

Shadowboxer is my favorite in the entire collection! I wore it for a weekend, and was still sad when it came time to take it off.  It's such a gorgeous and unique color.  It's a taupe linear holographic that shares the same, smooth, easy to apply formula this entire collection has.  Shown here is two coats plus topcoat.

Sour Times:

Sour Times is a purple linear holographic.  The formula is great, very smooth and easy to apply! Shown here is two coats plus topcoat.

I was asked a few times to compare Sour Times and Doll Parts, so I wanted to share that with you all here too as I feel they're very different from each other.

These polishes also watermarble wonderfully!  Who doesn't love a holo watermarble on their nails?

Overall, my photos don't do this collection justice, they are all beautiful, strong, linear holographics, which are a great addition to any collection!

Just a last recap, the Bittersweet Symphonies are releasing November 30th at 1pm EST.  There will be approximately 85-90 of each color and will be available in both sets and individually.

Cost of sets: $50
Cost of individuals: $10

Don't forget your coupon codes!  Coupons codes are 5OFF50 and 10OFF100.

Pipe Dream Polish - The Sugar Collection!

Hi guys!  Today I wanted to share with you the newest collection from Pipe Dream Polish, The Sugar Collection!

The collection is made up of six polishes with a unique finish, it's a cross between a scattered holo and shimmer, and it makes for a gorgeous combination!

The Sugar Collection will release Wednesday, October 12th at 1pm EST.

Before I start with the swatches, I wanted to mention the formula and application, as it's consistent in all the polishes, and I don't want to be repetitive.  Each polish in the Sugar Collection is very smooth with easy application, and it's easy to remove.  All the pictures are shown with just two coats and a quick dry topcoat.

Now, on to the swatches!

First up is, Bottle Service.  I would describe this as a mustard yellow.  A shimmery yellow leaning gold scattered holographic.  I wasn't sure how this would look against my skintone, but I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked it.  Usually yellows don't compliment me, but the golden shimmer really set this apart.

First Class is a shimmery rosy pink scattered holographic.

Five Star is tied as my favorite in the collection.  It's a gorgeous shimmery violet leaning purple scattered holo.

Next is my other favorite of this collection, Prenup.  I would describe this as a pink leaning purple scattered holo.

Private Jet is a soft green scattered holo, with some gold shimmer running throughout.

Last but definitely not least is Yacht Club.  Yacht Club is a gorgeous steely blue scattered holo.

The Sugar Collection also watermarbles like a boss with gorgeous results.  Here are some watermarbles I did with these below.

The colors and finishes in this collection are so unique and beautiful that I don't think I have one dupe in my entire collection, which is awesome because I'm getting picky in my old age!

These will be available on Wednesday, October 12th at 1pm EST. as both sets and individuals.  Individuals will be $9.00 each plus shipping. Sets will be $54.00 each plus shipping. No discounts for the set but shop coupons can be used.
Codes:  5OFF50 - $5 off $50 or more before shipping,
10OFF100 - $10 off $100 or more before shipping.
**Please make sure coupon is used when you checkout. No refunds will be given for coupon amount if you forget to use it. **

Fancy Gloss - The Pixie Collection

Today I am excited to share with you some swatches of an upcoming collection from Fancy Gloss called The Pixie Collection!

This collection will be releasing on Friday, October 7th at 8pm EST in Fancy Gloss' Shop.

One thing before we get into the swatches, Jackie, the maker of Fancy Gloss, sent me this gorgeous leaf magnet that anyone who buys the entire Pixie Collection will receive with their order. There are other colors, green, pink, purple, red, silver that she showed me, and they're just as stunning.  These magnets just seem to have an inner glow about them! I want to find a way to hang it from my rear view mirror, I think it would be just stunning spinning around in the sun!

First, I wanted to talk about the formula and application to avoid being repetitive.  Each swatch is shown with two coats of polish, and topped with one coat of a quick dry glossy topcoat.  All the Pixies were very smooth and easy to apply.  As always with Fancy Gloss, I experienced zero application issues.  They do dry a bit textured because of the microglitter, so you're going to want a glossy topcoat to make it smooth.

Now, let's get to the pretty polish!

Red Pixie is a red holographic microglitter.

Orange Pixie is an orange holographic microglitter.

Herb Pixie is a chartreuse/yellow holographic microglitter.

Emerald Pixie is a green holographic microglitter with a flash of gold.

Ocean Pixie is a dark blue holographic microglitter.  It has some silver microglitters mixed in and a bit of a pink flash!

Sky Pixie is a light blue holographic microglitter.

Purple Pixie is a light to medium purple holographic microglitter.

Lastly I wanted to include Pixie Rose.  I already posted this in another blog post, but wanted to include it to show the Pixie Collection as a whole.  Pixie Rose is a pinky/nude holographic microglitter.

Overall the Pixie Collection is gorgeous and so distractingly sparkly!  My favorite of the entire collection is Orange Pixie, I am such a sucker for a pretty orange polish this time of year.

Here is a little sneak peek of some nail art I did with the Pixies that I'll be posting on my Instagram!
