1850 Artisan Polish | Mary Poppins Collection

Hi everyone! Today I am back and I have a beautiful collection from 1850 Artisan Polish that's inspired by Mary Poppins!  I've never seen this movie myself, but I know it's beloved by many.

So let's go over the details first and then jump right into the swatches.

Who/What:

Rosy Cheeks

Rosy Cheeks is described as a beautiful full coverage red cream that leans slightly pink.

Inspiration:
In the advertisement for a nanny, written by the Banks children, they specifically requested rosy cheeks and Mary Poppins certainly fit their description.

Application/Formula.
The formula for Rosy Cheeks is wonderful. It goes on delightfully easy.  Removal is very easy.

Swatches show two coats plus a glossy top coat.

Chimney Sweep

Chimney Sweep is described as a silvery gray and it is filled with silver sparkle and holographic microflakes.

Inspiration:
If you are ready to step in time with Bert, this color is all you need for a little chimney sweep luck.

Application/Formula.
The formula for Chimney Sweep is lovely. It goes on very smoothly and easily.  Removal is aslso very easy.

Swatches show two coats plus a glossy top coat.

Supercal

Supercal is described as a bright blue based multichrome shimmer that shifts between blue, turquoise, purple, and gold. Topped with pink to green shifting aurora shimmer.

Inspiration:
The dancers in the musical use this nickname for Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, and a shimmering multichrome seemed perfect for something that can’t quite be described.

Application/Formula.
The formula for Supercal is wonderful. The application is smooth and easy.  Removal is also very easy.

Swatches show two coats plus a glossy top coat.

Feed the Birds

Feed the Birds is described as an incredibly sparkly polish with a base of gold shimmers, gold microflakes, and holographic gold glitters that is topped with a rainbow of multichrome flakies.

Inspiration:
Feed the Birds is inspired by the bird-filled golden snow globe from the original movie.

Application/Formula:
The formula for Feed the Birds is good. The application is smooth and easy.  Removal is also very easy.

Swatches show three coats plus top coat.

Spoonful of Sugar

A holographic topper with holographic microflakes mixed together with sugar crystal white glitters for a unique take on the classic holo topper.

Spoonful of Sugar is a really great holo topper. Easily one of my favorites.  It doesn't grey out the base color which I love.  If you want a holo topper that adds a gorgeous sparkle without altering your gorgeous base polish, this is the perfect topper for you.

Application/Formula:
The formula for Spoonful of Sugar is excellent. The application is smooth and even.  Removal is also very easy.

I have swatches of Spoonful of Sugar over Rosy Cheeks and Supercal.  Each shows just one coat of Spoonful of Sugar over the respective base.
