Polished For Days - Mythical Monsters 2.0 Trio

Hi guys!!

Today I have something I am so excited to share with you!  I have the Polished For Days Mythical Monsters 2.0 Trio!

I purchased the original  Mythical Monsters Trio and was blown away with their beauty, so naturally when I saw Jenna was releasing another Trio this year I was ecstatic, and oh my god you guys! Jenna seriously knocked this so far out of the park, it's on another planet!

So before I get into the swatches, let's begin with the details.

Who:
Polished For Days

Where:

When:
October 12, 2018, at 11am PST

Price:
Individually: $12.50
Trio: $37.00
Magnets: $1.75

Typhon

Typhon is a magnetic polish that is described as a black base with orange to green shifting iridescent flakes, orange to green iridescent micro flakes, holographic flakes and a pink to green shifting magnetic line.

Typhon is gorgeous! The polish on its own is beautiful, it's dark and vampy and the flakes add a gorgeous almost multichrome like effect.  I have pictures of it un-magnetized that I will include at the end.

When you apply the magnet it almost looks like a galaxy! Personally, I'm still mesmerized by the magnetic stripe and how they always seem to move with your hand.  No matter how you decide to wear this polish, you are not going to want to take it off.

Typhon has a wonderful formula, it applied smoothly and evenly.  It also removed easily.

My swatches of Typhon show two coats plus a glossy top coat.

The next two swatches show Typhon without the magnet applied, and a glossy top coat.

Kelpie

Kelpie is described as a a deep teal base packed with aqua-green-blue-purple shifting iridescent flakes and holographic flakes.

Kelpie is GORGEOUS! I honestly do not have enough positive words in my vernacular to describe how beautiful this polish is.  I put this polish on and was done for the day.  There was no taking it off, I needed to wear it for a few days to fully appreciate it's beauty.

The formula for Kelpie is awesome.  I had zero application issues, it applied smoothly and evenly.  Even though I didn't want to take it off, when I finally did, it removed very easily, and it did not stain.

My swatches show 2 coats plus a glossy top coat.

Siren

Siren is described as a purple base with a striking blue-purple micro flake glow and holographic flakes.

Okay, so let me start off my saying that I am not a purple polish person but holy crap you guys, this polish is bananas. I could not stop staring at this.  It's currently on my nails, and it's totally going on my toes for my next pedicure so that I can stare at it for a few months!  It absolutely is as glowing in person as it looks in the pictures.

I never would have thought that if I was asked to pick between a teal polish and a purple one, I would pick the purple! This is my favorite polish in the trio and probably my favorite polish this year

Siren has a fantastic formula.  It applied smoothly and evenly.  It removes easily and does not stain.

My swatches show 2 coats plus a glossy top coat.

I love this trio so much I just want to remind you before I go that these will launch October 12, 2018, at 11am PST.

Thanks for reading!
